Appointment of Hydrogen Board Advisor

Further to the May 4, 2021 release by Lion Energy Limited ("Lion" or "Company"; ASX: LIO) outlining its hydrogen strategy, the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ken Farrell to the newly created Lion H2 Advisory Board, joining Dr Andrew Dicks (refer ASX release dated May 11, 2021).

Mr Farrell brings a broad unique set of technical, project management and commercial skills to assist Lion in its strategy to create and monetize clean (green) hydrogen production especially in the areas of transport and marketing.

Mr Farrell is an engineer and a highly experienced heavy industry executive, and industrial materials logistics professional. He previously ran the port and rail operations of BHP Iron Ore in Western Australia, and was a key

member of BHP's Transport division, running the shipping and port

operations. Amongst other things, Mr Farrell brings the experience of running energy intensive businesses in Tasmania and the Northern Territory as well as large mineral export businesses in Indonesia for BHP, Kaltim Prima Coal and PT Newmont Indonesia.

Ken maintains current Memberships of the Institution of Engineers Australia, Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and Fellowship of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
