MILWAUKEE (AP) _ ManpowerGroup Inc. (MAN) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $10.3 million.

The Milwaukee-based company said it had profit of 18 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, were $1.20 per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 63 cents per share.

The staffing company posted revenue of $4.58 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $4.22 billion.

Manpower shares have dropped 26% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 16% in the last 12 months.
