PepsiCo, Maple Leaf Foods Strike Distribution Deal for Schneiders Pepperettes Meat Sticks in Canada

PepsiCo Inc. will distribute Schneiders Pepperettes meat sticks in Canada starting Oct. 3 through an exclusive agreement with Maple Leaf Foods Inc., the companies said Friday.

The distribution agreement applies to Schneiders Pepperettes snack-size products in 30-gram and 32-gram packages to target customers in the retail, convenience and gas and foodservice segments, the companies said.

"This partnership will enable us to broaden our immediate consumption portfolio and grow the Schneiders brand in Canada through our coast-to-coast sales and distribution network," said Cara Keating, president of PepsiCo Foods Canada.
