Notice regarding Selection and Application for Prime Market
in the New Market Segments
Tokyo, October 1, 2021 --- Maxell, Ltd. (TSE: 6810, hereinafter "the Company") today announced that the Company has selected and will apply for the Prime Market in the new market segments of Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (hereinafter "TSE") after resolution at the Board of Directors held on September 28, 2021.
On July 9, 2021, the Company has received the results of the initial assessment by TSE of its compliance with the criteria for the market to be listed, and has confirmed of being compliant with the criteria to be listed in the Prime Market.
Toward the transition to the new market segments scheduled on April 4, 2022, the Company will proceed the procedures relating to selection and application for the new market segment in accordance with the application schedule set by TSE.
