Meitec Corporation reported consolidated and non-consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2016. For the six months, the company reported consolidated net sales of JPY 44,111 million, operating income of JPY 5,071 million, ordinary income of JPY 5,074 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 3,466 million or JPY 118.83 per share, compared to net sales of JPY 42,143 million, operating income of JPY 4,744 million, ordinary income of JPY 4,723 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 3,798 million or JPY 125.43 per share, a year ago. Income before income taxes was JPY 5,073,645,000 compared to JPY 5,777,685,000 a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported non-consolidated net sales of JPY 34,073,032,000, operating income of JPY 4,100,250,000, ordinary income of JPY 4,679,184,000, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 3,279,479,000, compared to net sales of JPY 33,131,269,000, operating income of JPY 3,927,857,000, ordinary income of JPY 4,395,646,000, profit of JPY 3,749,874,000 a year ago. Income before income taxes was JPY 4,691,414,000,000 compared to JPY 5,437,202,000,000 a year ago.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the full year ending March 31, 2017. For the year, the company expected net sales of JPY 90,800 million, operating income of JPY 10,700 million, ordinary income of JPY 10,700 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 7,600 million or JPY 262.58 per share.
