It also operates the department store Centrul Comercial MERCUR, which is located in the Romanian city Craiova. Through Centrul Comercial MERCUR, the Company is active in the retail of apparel, accessories, household products, sports articles, cosmetics, electronics, information technology equipment, toys, underwear, footwear, books, furniture, leather articles and telephony articles, among others. Additionally, Mercur SA operates a restaurant. As of December 31, 2011, Societatea de Investitii Financiare Oltenia SA held an 85.54% stake in the Company.
