Merry Electronics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 8,463.89 million compared to TWD 10,136.15 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 457.6 million compared to TWD 393.81 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.2 compared to TWD 1.9 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.94 compared to TWD 1.78 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 24,367.35 million compared to TWD 21,758.02 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 589.74 million compared to TWD 743.96 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.84 compared to TWD 3.6 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.64 compared to TWD 3.4 a year ago.
Merry Electronics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the production of headphones, audio and speakers. Products include speakers, hands-free handsets, power banks, hearing aids, entertainment headsets, portable speakers and Bluetooth headsets. The products are used in mobile computers, tablet computers, mobile phones, televisions, wearable devices, and smart homes. The products are mainly sold to Asia, Europe and the Americas.
