Mersen: Catherine Delcroix appointed to the Supervisory Board Paris, March 10, 2015 - Mersen (Euronext FR0000039620 - MRN), a global expert in electrical specialities and graphite-based materials, announced the appointment of Catherine Delcroix to the Supervisory Board as an independent director. She replaces Philippe Rollier who has reached the upper age limit specified in the articles of association.

Chaired by Hervé Couffin, Mersen's Supervisory Board will submit the appointment for the approval of the shareholders during the AGM on 19 May 2015.
Hervé Couffin is delighted that this appointment brings the number of women on the Board to four, and places Mersen ahead of regulatory developments in this area.
Catherine Delcroix has spent her career in engineering and industrial maintenance, primarily in the energy sector. She has served as Managing Director for Energy in the CNIM Group between 2002 and 2014, and was appointed Board member and corporate secretary of the Group in 2009.
Catherine Delcroix is an ENSTA marine engineering graduate.
