Opening of receivership proceedings for METEX NØØVISTAGO

Postponement of the closing of the 2023 annual accounts

Clermont-Ferrand,March 20th, 2024 at 6:00 pm - (FR0004177046), METabolic EXplorer (METEX), leader in industrial fermentation for the production of natural ingredients for the animal feed, cosmetics and biopolymers markets, today announced that the Paris Commercial Court has granted the application to open receivership proceedings for its subsidiary METEX NØØVISTAGO.

The Paris Commercial Court has appointed SCP Abitbol & Rousselet, in the person of Maître Joanna Rousselet, and SCP 2M & Associés, in the persons of Maître Carole Martinez and Maître Marine Pace, as receivers. The deadline for submitting bids is noon on May 6th, 2024.

In the meantime, METEX NØØVISTAGO will continue to operate during the observation period.

METEX will keep the market informed of decisions to be taken shortly by the Commercial Court regarding its application to open safeguard proceedings and METEX NØØVISTA's application to open receivership proceedings.

In this context, the Company has decided to postpone the closing of its parent company and consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, originally scheduled for March 28th, 2024. METEX will use its best efforts to publish its annual financial report by June 30th, 2024 and, if necessary, will apply to the President of the Commercial Court for an extension of the deadline for the Annual General Meeting convened to approve the financial statements for the year ended December 31st, 2023.
