Metalfrio Solutions S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported net loss was BRL 27.78 million compared to BRL 29.38 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was BRL 6.765 compared to BRL 7.1538 a year ago.
For the nine months, net loss was BRL 33.14 million compared to BRL 138.38 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was BRL 8.0701 compared to BRL 33.6967 a year ago.
Metalfrio Solutions SA is a Brazil-based company involved in the production of plug-in commercial refrigerators and freezers. The Company's activities are divided into two business segments: Products and Services. The Products division is responsible for the manufacture and sale of domestic and commercial refrigerators and freezers. The Services division focuses on the maintenance and technical assistance for the products, sale of spare parts to authorized dealers and product customers, as well as logistics services. The Company distributes products under a number of brand names, such as Metalfrio, Derby, Caravell and Klimasan. It operates production plants in Europe and the Americas.
