--The Commerce Department award isn't finalized yet and could be announced as soon as next week, the sources told Bloomberg.
--It isn't clear whether the chip maker plans to also accept loans available to it through the 2022 Chips and Science Act, the report said.
--Representatives for Micron, the Commerce Department and the White House declined to comment for Bloomberg's story.
