Notes on year-on-year comparison
Copper
• At Naoshima Smelter and Refinery, periodic maintenance shutdown is planned for the period, contributing to a decrease of production. At Onahama Smelter and Refinery, the production will drop due to a decrease of receiving anodes shipped from
Naoshima Smelter and Refinery. As a consequence, the total production of refined copper will decrease approximately by 11%.
Gold/Silver
• Refined gold production will increase due to an increase of treatment of raw materials and its higher content of gold.
• Refined silver production will increase due to an increase of treatment of raw materials.
