MAIC mini™: The new member of MAIC family

MLS announces the official launch of MAIC Mini™ (www.maic.gr), the second product of MAIC's family, the new European AI and Voice Recognition Platform of MLS.

MAIC Mini™ has a modern and elegant design, high quality audio playback, exactly the same capabilities with the first member of the platform and is a part of the new category of household appliances, the Smart display category. MAIC Mini™, with a 4-inch display operates easily at any point that has access to power and WiFi. Due to its size, MAIC Mini™ can fit anywhere at home and is ideal for the bedside table, the kitchen, the living room, the children's room or the office. MAIC Mini™ is available at 149€ in technology and mobile phone stores. It is worth noting that the first product (Smart Display) based on MAIC platform that was launched on January 17th, is bigger, has a 7-inch display, larger speakers and is available at 249€.

According to official studies, smart digital assistants are already present in 100 million households in the USA. From the launch of Amazon's Alexa™ in 2015 up to today, the new generation of smart digital assistants has drastically improved Americans' everyday life.

MAIC Mini™ (www.maic.gr), like the first member of MAIC family, can play music of any kind (jazz, rock, funky, classical) or artist, even music according the weather, the user's mood or activity. It can also play the favorite music lists that the user has created, find radio stations worldwide, show music and all kinds of videos, play cartoons, inform you about the weather conditions from any part of the world, show the news, keep reminders, search for points of interest, find you a good restaurant. MAIC Mini™ can help you get in a good mood, advise you in the kitchen, show you any recipe you like, tell you a joke, a fairy tale, even help you sleep.

Moreover, with its Smarthome feature, it can also manage smart bulbs in any room, smart plugs and consequently all household appliances that are connected to a smart plug, like turn the coffee maker on, close the shutters, control a smart TV, manage and receive information from smart thermostats.

By using MAIC Mini™ you can also watch popular TV series and films on Netflix™. Spotify™ is supported as well. You can also make videocalls through a voice order, in a friendly environment that can be easily navigated even by technologically illiterate. MAIC Mini™ - like the first member of the family- aims to audiences of all age groups, from young children to the elderly, as its use is very simple even for people who are not familiar with technology.
