MTS Announces New Appointments in Top Management

MOSCOW, Russia - Mobile TeleSystems Public Joint Stock Company ("MTS" or "the Company") (NYSE: MBT; MOEX: MTSS), Russia's largest mobile operator and a leading provider of media and digital services, announces new appointments in the Company's management:

· Marina Nastasenko has been appointed to a new position as a Management Board member - Vice President for Digital Products, effective September 5. Before the appointment, she served as General Director of Salyut for Business, a part of the Sber ecosystem.
· Evgeniya Naumova, former Executive Vice President for Corporate Business of Kaspersky Lab, was appointed to the new position of Director for Cybersecurity in July.
· Andrey Rego, previously head of the Department of Regulatory Policy and Interaction with Federal Authorities at MTS, has been appointed Vice President for Government Relations, effective August 1. Ruslan Ibragimov, the former Vice President for Government Relations and Board member of MTS, is leaving the company due to the expiration of his employment contract.

MTS President and CEO Viacheslav Nikolaev said: "With these new personnel, MTS is strengthening its digital business vertical in two directions at once. Marina Nastasenko is a prominent expert in the field of speech technologies and biometric identification systems at the global level. She has extensive experience in creating the platform services at the ecosystem of Sber, as well as in consulting and entrepreneurship. At MTS, she will be responsible for improving our ecosystem in terms of the secure and seamless use of MTS digital services. Evgeniya Naumova, who has more than 15 years of professional experience in the field of information security, will promote our in-house cybersecurity solutions in the market."
