Moiselle International Holdings Limited provided earnings guidance for the year ended March 31, 2020. For the year, the company expected loss might be in the range of approximately HKD 110 million to HKD 150 million. the loss was mainly attributable to (i) the decrease in revenue of fashion apparel and accessories business due to the challenging operating environment in which the Group operates, especially in Hong Kong facing social unrest in the second half of calendar year 2019; (ii) the adverse impacts of COVID-19 pandemic on revenue and operations in all markets the Group operates during the fourth quarter of financial year ended March 2020; (iii) the significant decrease in fair value of investment properties under unfavorable market conditions, and (iv) the significant impairment of right-of-use assets and property, plant and equipment based on unfavorable forecast of future cash flows in respect of cash generating units the Group owns which in turn results from the widespread and continuous adverse impacts of COVID-19 pandemic on short-term to long-term economy.
