Earth Fare, an organic grocery store, recently upgraded its Café of an Earth Fare store in Charlotte, North Carolina with digital signage from Mood Media as part of a trial. Mood Media installed five 55-inch LCD displays to deliver content o drive up sales in the Café's 'Eat In' food categories, according to a press release.

The digital signage included menu boards to display beverages and food options as well as targeted messaging. The displays also deliver live sports streaming, weather conditions and other content. Earth Fare could change content streams of any of the five displays at any time using the Mood Harmony content management system, according to the release.

"In addition to our commitment to provide clean and healthy food options for our shoppers, we are also dedicated to ensuring that our shoppers have enjoyable and memorable experiences," Mike Savage, senior VP of merchandising at Earth Fare, said in the release. "Mood Media helped us create a branded café environment that positively distinguishes us from other grocers. With new visual technologies and engaging, customized content, shoppers felt invited to eat, drink, lounge and relax."

Through Mood Harmony, Earth Fare can also control more than 180 displays and 400 media devices across all its stores.
