The Board of Directors of the Nairobi Securities Exchange has appointed Mr. Andrew Wachira as the Acting Chief Executive of the Exchange effective from October 1, 2014. This follows the exit of Mr. Peter Mwangi as the Chief Executive on September 30, 2014. Mr. Wachira has over 10 years' experience at the Exchange.
He has been the Head of Compliance and Legal Department, NSE since 2009.
