Nam Seng Insurance Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company, which is principally engaged in the provision of non-life insurance. The Company operates through two segments: motor insurance and other insurance. The Company operates various types of business, including fire insurance, car insurance, marine and transportation insurance, miscellaneous insurance, reinsurance, and investment. Its fire insurance business covers insured assets, such as buildings, machinery, stock, which may be damaged by fire and additional hazards, such as windstorms, explosions, flooding, earthquake threats and other. Its car insurance business covers loss or damage and liability caused by the use of the car, which is divided into two main categories: compulsory insurance and voluntary insurance. Its Marine and Transportation Insurance business provides protection against loss or damage to the hull. Its miscellaneous insurance business is insurance other than fire insurance.
