NATIONAL BANK OF KUWAIT S.A.K.P. Arab Jordan Investment Bank (ASE:AJIB) agreed to acquire Banking operations of National Bank of Kuwait in jordan from National Bank of Kuwait S.A.K.P. (KWSE:NBK) on February 17, 2022. As per the terms of the transaction Upon completion, the entire assets and liabilities of National Bank of Kuwait - Jordan will automatically transfer to Arab Jordan Investment Bank, including the customers' deposits and loans. The transaction is already approved by the regulatory authorities including Central Bank of Jordan.
It is expected that the transaction will be completed within the next few months.
