Neoen announces that it has finalized the joint financing of the second tranche of its Goyder South Stage 1 wind farm (203 MW) and its Blyth Battery (238.5 MW / 477 MWh), which benefit from a loan granted by a syndicate of five lenders.

These two assets, which are currently under construction, will supply 70 MW of continuous green electricity to the BHP mining group from July 2025, to cover half of the electricity consumption of its Olympic Dam mine in South Australia.

The intermittency of the wind power produced by the second Goyder South Stage 1 unit will be compensated for by Blyth Battery's storage capacities and Neoen's energy management expertise.
