NGS Advanced Fibers Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire NICALON business from Nippon Carbon Co. Ltd. (TSE:5302) on June 8, 2012. The business transfer contract is expected to be concluded on June 19, 2012. The transaction was resolved by the Board of Directors of Nippon Carbon on June 8, 2012. The transaction is expected to significantly affect the Nippon's financial base, management results and cash flow status but will have no impact on consolidated results.
