Noble Group Limited (SGX:CGP) said it remained in talks with various potential strategic partners. In its response to an exchange query on the stock's unusual trading activity on Tuesday, Noble said: "The company has previously announced it is in talks with various strategic parties, and has informed the market that no assurance can be given that any discussion will result in a transaction. Such discussions are ongoing." Besides Sinochem International Corporation (SHSE:600500), Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Castleton Commodities International LLC are among those which have looked at investing in Noble, the Financial Times reported, quoting unnamed sources.

Noble also said it has mandated two investment banks, Moelis and Company as well as Morgan Stanley, to review strategic alternatives. The firm continues to right-size businesses and to evaluate further asset sales, it added.
