Northstar Gold Corp's CEO, Brian Fowler joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share the latest advancements in the company's mining operations, notably the completion of an extensive drilling project at the Cam Copper Mine.

The mine, which is conveniently accessible by road, is recognized as a satellite high-grade volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) copper system, located approximately 2.4 kilometers southwest of the Allied Gold Zone where Northstar is conducting active exploration.

Northstar has reported that all four of the diamond drill holes completed, covering a total of 720 meters, encountered significant lenses of copper-rich VMS deposits. Notably, between the depths of 116.55 meters and 119 meters in Zone 2, the drilling cut through massive and stringer chalcopyrite formations over a 2.45-meter section.

While the analytical results from these drills are still forthcoming, they are anticipated in the near future.

Fowler expressed to Proactive that the initial sampling and Phase I drill outcomes from the 2023 explorations solidly confirm the existence of a significant, multi-layered high-grade copper VMS system within the Cam Copper Mine. This system shows remarkable potential for expansion.

With the necessary permits already secured, Northstar is strategically positioned to proceed with the exploration of the southeastern strike and the down-plunge extensions of the Cam Copper massive sulphide zones in the upcoming Phase II of their drilling program. This next phase is set to delve deeper into the geological structure, aiming to uncover the full extent and richness of the copper deposits present.
