NSD Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net sales were JPY 28,765 million compared to JPY 26,859 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 3,586 million compared to JPY 3,028 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 3,641 million compared to JPY 3,041 million a year ago. Net income attributable to the owners of the parent was JPY 2,313 million compared to JPY 1,926 a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 54.48 compared with JPY 44.83 a year ago.
For the fiscal year ended March 2018, the company expects net sales to be JPY 58,270 million and operating income to be JPY 7,790 million, ordinary income of JPY 7,950 million and net income attributable to the owners of the parent to be JPY 5,220 million, net income per share of JPY 123.25.
