The board of NZ Windfarms has appointed Mr. Toby Stevenson to the board of directors on December 7, 2018 to fill a casual vacancy on the Board. He has significant governance and industry experience relevant to the company. He is the chair of the Independent Assessment Board for Local Government NZ's Excellence Programme and is on the board of Sapere Research Group.

He was an independent director on the board of King Country Energy from 2009 ­ 2018 and was chair from 2014. He is a chartered company director. In addition, Mr. John Worth's contract as CEO will be ending on 8 March 2019.

He has been providing services to the Company for the past 20 months. The board has appointed Rob Foster, a current director of the Company, to take over as interim Chief Executive Officer, and to provide continuing leadership. Given he is now assuming an executive role with the Company, he will no longer be regarded as an independent director of the Company for the purposes of the Listing Rules.
