MONTREAL (AP) _ Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (OR) on Thursday reported first-quarter earnings of $257,000.

On a per-share basis, the Montreal-based company said it had profit of less than 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 1 cent per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 9 cents per share.

The mining royalty and exploration company posted revenue of $46.9 million in the period.
