Ovintiv Inc. (TSX:OVV) announces a share repurchase program. Under the normal course issuer bid, the company will repurchase up to 26,048,261 common shares. The repurchased shares will be cancelled. The repurchase program will be valid for a period of twelve months till September 30, 2022.

Its operations also include the marketing of oil, natural gas liquids (NGLs) and natural gas. Its segments include USA Operations, Canadian Operations, and Market Optimization. Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada.
