PepinNini Minerals Limited announced that Firstly, this week the planned geophysical survey on the Santa Ines copper-gold project in Salta province, Argentina has commenced. The Induced Polarisation (IP) survey is jointly funded by PepinNini subsidiary PepinNini SA (PNN SA) and Litio Minera SA, a subsidiary of Ganfeng Lithium, Secondly, on the Salta lithium project, work is to commence next week on pilot production of battery-grade lithium carbonate using the concentrated brine from the evaporation blend testing program and which is close to completion, with final results expected in a few weeks. A further 9,000 litres of brine will be collected next week for this pilot production, comprising 6,000 litres from Salar del Rincon and 3,000 from Salar de Incahuasi. Results are expected early in the new year. Ganfeng Lithium plan a brine pipeline from their Mariana Project south west of PepinNini's Santa Ines Project to the north east passing through the Santa Ines Project en route. The geophysical IP survey will provide a useful interpretive tool for both parties. For PepinNini it will be an exploration tool for copper-gold mineralisation targets for additional drill testing while it will give Ganfeng reassurance that the pipeline trace will not require relocation in the event of a mineral discovery. The survey is expected to take 12 days, with timing of the interpretation to follow dependent on the data gathered.
