Pöyry was highlighted for its performance in the Suppliers of Engineering and Consulting Services category.

Pöyry is the winner of ABTCP 2019 Sector Award in the 'Suppliers of Engineering and Consulting Services' category. Created by the Brazilian Pulp and Paper Technical Association (ABTCP), the award recognizes companies from the entire pulp and paper production chain and their role in the market.

'Winning the industry's top award proves our market performance and recognizes Pöyry's ability to anticipate trends and develop projects that help our customers to solve their business problems. To this end, we have built a lasting, transparent and committed relationship, always focusing on excellence, quality of service and deadlines. I would like to thank our highly engaged and connected team for the support', said Márcia Mastrocola, Process Industries Director for Pöyry in Latin America.

The winner for each of the 17 categories was selected from ABTCP member companies' business cases. The voting was carried out by a committee composed of ABTCP members, including Board, Directors and Individual Associates.

The winners were announced during the Annual Celebration Dinner, held at the 52nd International Pulp and Paper Congress on October 23rd 2019 in São Paulo.
