Sydney, 28 March, 2014 - element14 will be hosting a webinar on Friday 11 April 2014 on the world's first inductance-to-digital converter, presented by Andreas Kraemer from Texas Instruments.

Inductive Sensing is a contactless, magnet-free sensing technology that can measure the position, motion or composition of a metal or conductive target as well as detect the compression, extension, or twist of a spring.

Andreas will be introducing Inductive Sensing technology and providing an overview of the first product, the LDC1000 and the corresponding evaluation module. He will demonstrate the versatility and flexibility of the technology and device with a number of use cases and application examples.
