Barranquilla, February 01, 2022.

* For the third time, S&P Global has included Promigas in its Sustainability Yearbook, after evaluating almost 7,500 companies.

* This recognition, which is calculated on the basis of the contribution that companies have made on environmental, social and good governance matters, reflects the Promigas commitment to sustainability and energy transition. It is a reflection of the company's environmental policy for a healthier planet.

Promigas, a leading company in Colombia's energy sector, has once again been included in Standard & Poor's (S&P) Sustainability Yearbook, a publication that recognizes the 15 per cent of companies with the best performance in their social, environmental and corporate good governance policies.

After evaluating almost 7,500 organizations in 61 industries, S&P included Promigas as one of its 700 members, which include six other companies in the sector. Manjit Jus, S&P Global Research Director, and Robert Dornau, Director of Corporate Engagement, highlighted the fact that "the time and effort that Promigas has invested in meeting the biggest sustainability challenges in the world have made it an outstanding company in the industry".

Juan Manuel Rojas Payán, Promigas President, said that "it fills us with great pride to be part of this select group of companies that are recognized for their good practices. There can be no doubt that it is a reflection of our sustainable approach, which is embedded in the corporate vision and purpose, as we lead a value transformation for the communities and ecosystems in our surroundings".

Promigas obtained an outstanding score of 83 for environment, compared to the general average of 40, while its global score was 73, up by ten points since it was listed in the yearbook for the first time. Natalia Abello, Legal and Sustainability Vice-President, said that "this recognition shows the company's leadership and supports its commitment to sustainability as a leading company with over 45 years' experience in the energy sector, during which time it has taken on board the global criteria of the world's principal rating firms".
