BUMI WINS HIGHEST ESG RATING AMONGST 56 COAL COMPANIES WORLDWIDE

PT Bumi Resources Tbk. ("BUMI" or "the Company") ranked 1st in Refinitiv ESG Rating - a prominent global financial data services provider, who provides ESG assessment and scoring from 56 coal companies worldwide in the month of June 2022. The result shows strong BUMI's ESG disclosure performance of 84 (on 100 scale). On their website, Refinitiv categorized the score higher than 75 (Fourth Quartile) as indicating excellent relative ESG performance and high degree of transparency in reporting material ESG data publicly.
Refinitiv, formerly known as Thomson Reuters, is a London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) business, and one of the world's largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure. It has $6.25 billion in revenue, over 40,000 customers and 400,000 end users across 190 countries. Refinitiv headquartered in London, UK.
ESG scores from Refinitiv are designed to transparently and objectively measure a company's relative ESG performance, commitment and effectiveness across 10 main themes (emissions, environmental product innovation, human rights, shareholders, etc.) based on publicly reported data. The Refinitiv ESG score measures the company's ESG performance based on verifiable reported data in the public domain. It captures and calculates over 630 company-level ESG measures, of which a subset of 186 of the most comparable and material per industry power the overall company assessment and scoring process. Refinitiv grouped into 10 categories that form the three pillar scores and the final ESG score, which is a reflection of the company's ESG performance.
