Consolidated net sales increased 11% to Rp19.14 trillion

• Income from operations increased 13% to Rp3.99 trillion

• Core profit increased 34% to Rp2.87 trillion

Jakarta, 2 May 2023 - PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk ("ICBP" or the "Company") today announced its financial results for the period ended 31 March 2023. ICBP posted consolidated net sales growth of 11% to Rp19.14 trillion from Rp17.19 trillion in the same period last year.

Income from operations increased 13% to Rp3.99 trillion from Rp3.53 trillion and operating margin slightly improved to 20.9% compared to 20.6% in the first quarter of 2022. Core profit, which reflects the underlying operating performance of the Company, increased 34% to Rp2.87 trillion from Rp2.14 trillion in the first quarter last year.

Anthoni Salim, the President Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICBP, said: "Entering into 2023, we're pleased that ICBP recorded a positive performance delivering both sales and profitability growth. We will continue to drive sales volume growth across our product categories and maintain healthy profitability, while monitoring the development of global market conditions which could impact Indonesia's economic growth, commodity prices and exchange rate volatility."
