This Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Main Director of PT Timah Ahmad Dani Virsal the Head of the Bangka Belitung Islands High Prosecutor's Office Asep Maryono and the Head of the State Prosecutor's Office in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province Region.

Head of the Bangka Belitung High Prosecutor's Office, Asep Maryono, on this occasion, said that his party appreciates PT Timah for entrusting the prosecutor's office as a companion in terms of civil law and state administration.

"With this collaboration, the prosecutor's office is ready to help PT Timah if it faces problems, both mitigation and non-mitigation, according to Legal Opinion," he said.

According to Asep, currently, the Prosecutor's Office is improving the governance of tin mining nationally.

"The tin issue is a complex matter. The Prosecutor's Office does not only focus on PT Timah, we are talking about governance nationally. I think there are good things that will improve the performance of PT Timah and also make the existing system at PT Timah even better. This is a complex problem "not only from PT Timah but from outside PT Timah, including the role of the community in safeguarding the resources in Babel," he said.

According to him, the issue of tin governance cannot be resolved by PT Timah alone and cannot be resolved only by law enforcement.

"This must be done comprehensively, especially the security forces must be able to support and maintain the potential that exists in Bangka Belitung. The prosecutor's office is always ready to accompany this," he said.

Meanwhile, the Main Director of PT Timah Ahmad Dani Virsal appreciated the synergy that has existed between the Babel Prosecutor's Office and PT Timah.

"We appreciate and uphold the synergy that exists, especially the assistance from the Prosecutor's Office to PT TIMAH Tbk both from the Attorney General's Office, the Prosecutor's Office and the Prosecutor's Office to continue to improve performance within the framework of rules and regulations. We hope that the efforts we have made so far will provide benefits to PT Timah and our nation, said Dani.

Dani added, PT Timah Tbk as a state-owned business entity always wants to prioritize Good Corporate Governance (GCG) as the basis for the company's work and contribution to shareholders. And implementing GCG principles certainly requires the support of all parties.

In the face of unique and increasingly tough competition and dynamics of the tin business. GCG is expected to become the company's foundation to better achieve the Company's vision, mission, and goals.

"PT Timah needs assistance and assistance from Jamdatun, especially from a legal perspective, so that GCG principles can continue to be implemented in the company's operational activities. By the regulations issued by the government regarding tin mining," he said.

Dani hopes that this Cooperation Agreement agreement can be a support for PT Timah Tbk. Either in the context of handling and/or resolving legal issues in the Civil and State Administration fields, or other forms of support in the context of duties and functions in the Civil and State Administration fields.

"In carrying out increasingly dynamic company operations, companies will be faced with various challenges. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare various preventive steps and efforts, one of which is cooperation in the legal aspect," he said.

According to him, with the support of Legal Assistance, Legal Considerations, Legal Opinions, and even Legal Assistance in the Civil and State Administration Sector, in the future, the company's performance will be better so that it can contribute maximally to the Nation and State.

"Hopefully the interests of the State and Government in the tin sector will increasingly lead to a clear path," he said.

"We express our thanks and highest appreciation to the High Prosecutor's Office of the Bangka Belitung Islands and the District Prosecutor's Office in the Legal Area of ??the High Prosecutor's Office of the Bangka Belitung Islands. We hope that this synergy, b collaboration can give friends confidence in the company's operations," he said. (*)
