PT United Tractors Tbk : United Tractors Celebrated 78th Indonesian Independence Day

Jakarta, August 17th,2023 - To celebrate and honor the dedication of the heroes who have fought for Indonesia's independence, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) held a red and white flag-raising ceremony which was carried out simultaneously by the UT Group in various regions of Indonesia. On this occasion, the supervisor of the ceremony was led by Widjaja Kartika, the Director of UT at the UT Head Office, Jakarta.

UT routinely carries out various activities to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia every year. This year, UT appreciates multiple parties who have contributed to the Company and Indonesia. In addition, UT also held various competitions that employees participated in. These different activities are carried out to foster enthusiasm to continue to provide the best through positive contributions to the nation's progress.

Parties who received appreciation included members of the TNI and POLRI, the Special Olympics Indonesia (SOINA) delegation who won the Special Olympic World Summer Games in Berlin, the Wordskills ASEAN (WSA) delegation who won the WSA XIII 2023 event in Singapore, as well as Disaster Resilient Village Representative (KATANA). The process of handing over this appreciation was given directly by the Director of UT, Widjaja Kartika and Edhie Sarwono.

Since the beginning of last August, UT has simultaneously put up banners at every company installation to enliven the atmosphere and echo the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, with the theme "Keep Going Forward For Indonesia to Go Forward."

UT will consistently strive to contribute to Indonesia through Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) implementation aspects and support for Indonesia's Sustainable Development Goals.
