Rosseti FGC UES Improves Reliability Of Primorye Energy Ring 500 kV Transmission Lines

Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has completed repairs at the 500 kV backbone transmission line 'Primorskaya SDPP - Chuguevka-2'. The line is more than 290 km long. It takes out the power from Far East's biggest thermal power plant to consumers in Primorye's south and is the key link in the circular power supply arrangement in the Primorye territory.

Conductors and insulator sets have been repaired, ballast on the conductors and arcing horns on the ground wire installed and adjusted, vibration dampers replaced, connecting terminals reinforced, towers rectified.

Earlier, Rosseti FGC UES repaired four more 500 kV transmission lines in the circular power supply scheme of the Primorye territory. The transmission line's total length is 1039 km.

The Primorye energy ring including Primorskaya SDPP and 500 kV substations Dalnevostochnaya, Vladivostok, Lozovaya, Chuguevka-2 has been formed to enhance the reliability of operation of the power system of the area and the city of Vladivistok and to provide electricity for new consumers including the residents of Nadezhdinsky, Neftekhimichesky, Bolshoi Kamen priority development areas and port of Kozmino, the end point of the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean oil pipeline.
