Joint Stock Company Russian Grids agreed to acquire 34.7% stake in Tomsk Distribution Company from JSC Tyumenenergo for approximately RUB 780 million.

Joint Stock Company Russian Grids (MICEX:MRKH) agreed to acquire 34.7% stake in Tomsk Distribution Company (MICEX:TORS) from JSC Tyumenenergo for approximately RUB 780 million on June 28, 2013. Russian Grids will purchase 1.325 billion ordinary shares and 158.213 million preferred shares. It will pay RUB 0.54 per ordinary share and RUB 0.42 per preferred share.

In a related transaction, Joint Stock Company Russian Grids (MICEX:MRKH) agreed to acquire unknown stake in OJSC Kubanenergo for RUB 4.88 billion on June 28, 2013. The transaction has been approved by the Board of Directors of OJSC Russian Grids.
