WETTENBERG (dpa-AFX) - Technology company PVA Tepla has increased its profit strongly in 2022, even after taxes. Net income rose by 45 percent year-on-year to just under 17.7 million euros, PVA Tepla announced on Thursday. The company again does not intend to pay a dividend. The Wettenberg-based company had already published preliminary figures for 2022 at the end of February and provided an outlook for the current year.

For the current year, the management continues to target sales of 240 to 260 million euros due to full order books. 2022 revenues climbed by almost 32 percent to 205 million euros. Operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) are expected to increase to 36 to 40 million euros in 2023. Last year, this result rose by 30 percent to around 30 million euros.
