RISMA has since Q2 2022, together with experienced ESG professionals, been working on a governance solution for compliance with the new EU Directive on non-financial reporting (CSRD). The CSRD solution rests on the same proven technology as for example RISMAs GDPR solution.

Companies with more than 250 employees will within a few years be required to comply with the directive. The directive is by many seen as the heaviest new compliance burden ever imposed on companies.

Although RISMA expect to launch other solutions in 2023, including a commercially interesting solution for compliance with the new IT-security related directive, NIS2, RISMA expects this new CSRD solution to be the most important new contributor to RISMA‘s growth in 2023 and beyond.

RISMA’s CSRD solution is expected to be launched in the beginning of February 2023, but the first contract has been signed prior to product launch.

RISMA’s CEO, Lars Nybro Munksgaard, says: “Five years ago we took the necessary steps to be able to reuse the technology originally used for RISMA’s GDPR solution. This decision has proved successful, as it since has been reused multiple times for different solutions. We have, however, not before reused it for a solution with the market potential we expect RISMA’s CSRD solution to have. Neither has RISMA ever before allocated so many resources prior to a product launch as with the CSRD solution. It is a great pleasure that we prior to product launch has been able to sign the first contract, and that this is with Lundbeck, which may be one of the frontrunners on the sustainability agenda.”
