(Alliance News) - Rosetti Marino Spa announced Wednesday that it has signed a new contract worth about EUR75 million for the rationalization of the "Tire Production Facilities" at the Ravenna plant of customer Versalis Spa.

The project will lead to a major upgrade of the production process of the Tire Production Plants, adapting them to the latest available technologies, the company explained in a note. The increase in production will ensure more efficient use of energy resources and reduction of the carbon footprint.

The scope of work of the contract awarded to Rosetti Marino includes complementary process and detailed engineering, supply of materials and equipment, construction and erection work, supervision services, precommissioning and startup of the plant, and supply of spare parts.

The company's CEO, Oscar Guerra, commented, "We are delighted with this new order, with which we resume our well-established relationship of trust with a very important Italian customer such as Versalis, confirming the goodness of the strategic choices we have made in anticipation of the strong recovery underway in our target market and reinforcing Rosetti Marino's commitment to the sustainable development of Ravenna's industry."

Activities will be completed in March 2025.

Rosetti Marino's stock on Wednesday closed flat at EUR33.20 per share.
