S Chand and Company Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 472.74 million compared to INR 518.4 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 474.7 million compared to INR 571.59 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 177.15 million compared to INR 404.41 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 5.66 compared to INR 11.77 a year ago. S Chand and Company Limited is engaged in the publishing and trading of educational books. The Company offers a suite of products which offers complete solutions for learners across K-12, higher education, competitive examinations and digital platforms. The Company caters to schools, higher educational institutions, professional colleges, and vocational training institutes. Its K-12 content portfolio is offered to students from ages four through eighteen years and includes instructional resources across hundreds of programs.
