Síminn hf. signed a purchase agreement to acquire BBI ehf, Dengsa ehf and Billboard ehf from Landvist ehf., Var Ehf., Klettaskarð ehf, Kasi Consulting ehf. and Birgir Örn Birgisson.

Síminn hf. (ICSE:SIMINN) signed a purchase agreement to acquire BBI ehf, Dengsa ehf and Billboard ehf from Landvist ehf., Var Ehf., Klettaskarð ehf, Kasi Consulting ehf. and Birgir Örn Birgisson on January 18, 2024.

Upon completion, The companies will operate as independent entities. Vésteinn Gauti Hauksson, who has led the three companies, will continue as their managing director. Síminn will work as executive board.

The transaction is financed with cash balance. The transaction is subject to approval from the Competition Authority. As of March 15, 2024, The competition authority approved the transaction.

The acquisition will close latest at the end of April 2024.
