Societatea de Producere a Energiei Electrice in Hidrocentrale Hidroelectrica S.A. (Hidroelectrica) specializes in the production and distribution of electricity. At the same time, the group offers services related to river water management. Net sales break down by activity as follows: - power generation (79.2%): 13,245.4 GWh of electricity generated at the end of 2022 (no. 1 in Romania) with 182 hydroelectric power plants, 5 pumping stations and a wind farm (total installed capacity of 6,388.7 MW at the end of 2022); - electricity distribution (20.8%): 3,675.5 GWh of electricity sold to 482,638 end consumers (homes, businesses, shops, etc.) at the end of 2022. Romania accounts for all net sales.
