Vogo Fund II managed by Vogo Investment agreed to acquire Samyang Optics Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A008080) from SY Corporation Co., Ltd. and other investors for KRW 68 billion on May 15, 2013. The creditors can submit their objections from June 29, 2013 to July 31, 2013. Samyang Optics will use the proceeds to compensate shareholders.
The Board of Directors of SY Corporation resolved the deal on August 19, 2013. Kim & Chang acted as the legal advisor for Vogo Fund II managed by Vogo Investment.
