Dukat d.d. agreed to acquire 50.3% stake in Ljubljanske Mlekarne, d.d. from Factor banka d.d., Nfd Holding Financna Druzba D.D., Sava, druzba za upravljanje in financiranje, d. d., KD Group, financna druzba, d. d. and KD Banka d.d.

Dukat d.d. agreed to acquire 50.3% stake in Ljubljanske Mlekarne, d.d. from Factor banka d.d., Nfd Holding Financna Druzba D.D. (LJSE:NF2R), Sava, druzba za upravljanje in financiranje, d. d. (LJSE:SAVA), KD Group, financna druzba, d. d. (LJSE:KDHR) and KD Banka d.d. on October 29, 2012. Post acquisition, Lactalis will publish a takeover offer to acquire the remaining shares in Ljubljanske mlekarne. Ljubljanske Mlekarne, d.d. had revenues of €154 million in year 2011.

The deal is subject to approval of Slovenian and European competition authorities. As of February 22, 2013, Slovenian and European competition authorities approved the transaction.
