On September 21, a new educational platform Woman-Leader was presented online at TASS. The event was organized by Senezh management workshop of the Russia - Land of Opportunity presidential platform and the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum.

The Women-Leader platform is aimed to create and develop communities of successful women and involve them in solving crucial issues and searching for efficient response to modern challenges. More than 120 active participants of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum projects and finalists of the Leader of Russia managers' competition of the Russia - Land of Opportunity presidential platform will become the first students of the program.

The event gathered the following dignitaries: Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council; Galina Karelova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Federation Council; Alexey Komissarov, CEO of Russia - Land of Opportunity; Marina Rakova, Sberbank Vice President; Natalya Komarova, Governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra; Svetlana Chupsheva, CEO, Agency for Strategic Initiatives; Maria Afonina, Vice Rector for Education Activity of Senezh management workshop of Russia - Land of Opportunity; and Ksenia Razuvaeva, Director of Russian Centre for the Civil and Patriotic Education of Children and Young People (Rospatriotcentre).

During her speech, Marina Rakova, Sberbank Vice President, said that program participants should consider it a possibility of bringing their efforts together to create and implement their projects jointly. She stressed that due to the changes in the modern education track, soft skills such as communication and team work become more important than formal grades.

Speakers also discussed the potential of the program launch, its importance for Russians, and the content of key educational modules which will help women to fulfil their potential as professionals and leaders.

Speaking previously at the Digital Technologies and Futures of Education UNESCO round table, Marina Rakova also highlighted the importance of mastering new skills that help you rise up to the challenges of the modern world. 'Instability of the modern world requires that education set completely new goals, adheres to new approaches and new didactics,' she said, also stressing that it is necessary to develop soft, social, emotional, and digital skills besides substantive and cross-curricular ones.

During her speech, the expert said that Digital School Platform by Sberbank was created based on the personal education principles as a result of the best practices of many countries. According to Marina Rakova, setting objectives for education and development under mentoring is an important area of a child's development. To ensure the possibility of learning along personal courses, advanced educational content was developed in all school subjects. She stressed that it is important for modern students to transfer knowledge and skills from a teacher to a student, and the platform is a tool that helps teachers to ease the administrative burden and devote more time to the main thing, which is teaching children. 'Teaching is a profession that will always be on all the atlases of future professions.'
