(Alliance News) - Sebino Spa has announced that it has taken over the operating business of Eprom System Srl, a historic company with its operational headquarters in Mapello and active in Italy for more than 30 years in the field of construction and maintenance of security systems and in particular video surveillance, access control, detection and anti-intrusion systems.

Unlike the company's assets and employees, Eprom's tax receivables and payables and real estate assets, which will remain with the seller, will not enter the Sebino perimeter.

Revenues realized in 2022 by Eprom amounted to more than EUR3 million, a significant improvement over 2021. The business unit being transferred, including financial debts amounting to about EUR430,000 as of December 31, 2022, was recognized at the symbolic value of EUR1.

The sole director of subsidiary Sebino Security, Walter Vignandel, commented, "The security sector is at the center of a profound change that will have to integrate technologies such as artificial intelligence, remote signal management, augmented reality, and platforms for digitization. It is for this reason that Sebino Security, in synergy with the rest of the Sebino group, through the transaction will strengthen, thanks to Eprom's previous experience gained with leading partners, leveraging the expertise acquired through the transaction, its development project to offer its clients increasingly advanced plant solutions and anticipating the needs of a rapidly evolving market."

"The transaction will also allow Sebino Security to increase its dimens ion in a market, that of security installations, characterized by high fragmentation."

Sebino trades in the green by 1.1 percent at EUR5.80 per share.
