Seegene, Inc. (KOSDAQ:A096530) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 30,000 million worth of its shares pursuant to a contract with Samsung Securities Co. Ltd. The purpose of the program is to improve shareholder value and stabilize stock prices. The program will expire on September 28, 2021. As of March 8, 2021, the company had 236,851 shares in treasury within the scope available for dividend and had 5,195 shares in treasury through other repurchases.
Seegene Inc is a Korea-based company engaged in the development, manufacturing and distribution of molecular diagnostic reagents. The Company mainly provides infectious pathogens inspection products, including allergic respiratory pathogens, sexually transmitted diseases pathogens, human papilloma virus (HPV) and other inspection products, drug resistance inspection products, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) inspection products, as well as somatic mutation cancer inspection products.
