With five mixing lines and a capacity of 75,000 tonnes per year, the Polish plant in Belchatów will be the largest mixing site in the Semperit Group after completion of the most recent expansion project. Around EUR 17 million was invested in the construction of "Mixer 5" in the past three years. With the new mixing line, 30,000 tonnes of rubber compounds can be produced per year, while the mixing capacity at the site is increased by a total of 67%. The Semperit Group has a high demand for tailor-made rubber compounds - in-house mixing is therefore indispensable and guarantees comprehensive quality control at all stages of production. In addition, many years of internal know-how in the mixing division lead to clear annual cost advantages in a high six-digit range. The mixing activities of the Semperit Group in Europe are concentrated in Wimpassing/Austria, Odry/Czech Republic, Hueckelhoven/Germany, and Belchataw/Poland. The Polish Sempertrans location also supplies compounds to Semperform Profiles in Deggendorf/Germany for the production of window seals.
