Sinopec Engineering Co., Ltd. Appoints Zheng Lijun as an Employee Representative Supervisor

SINOPEC Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd. has officially appointed Mr. ZHENG Lijun as an employee representative supervisor through democratic election procedures recently for a term commencing from the date of election and ending on the expiry of the term of the fourth session of the supervisory committee of the Company. Mr. ZHENG Lijun, aged 55, is an employee representative supervisor of the Company, who is also an executive director of Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd. He is a senior engineer with a university diploma. From August 1990 to March 2017, Mr. ZHENG Lijun held positions in SINOPEC Beijing Design Institute and SINOPEC Engineering Incorporation. Mr. ZHENG Lijun served as a vice president of SINOPEC Engineering Incorporation from March 2017 to November 2019, a vice president of the Company from November 2019 to January 2023, a president of Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co.,
Ltd. from January 2023 to December 2023, an executive director of Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd. from December 2023; and an employee representative supervisor of the Company from February 2024.
SINOPEC Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracting business. The Company operates its business through four segments. The Engineering, Consulting and Licensing segment is engaged in the provision of design, consulting, research and development, feasibility studies, compliance certification services to oil refining and chemical industries. The EPC Contracting segment is engaged in the provision of integrated engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance and project management services. The Construction segment is engaged in the provision of construction, renovation, expansion, repair and maintenance services and large equipment lifting and transportation services in construction projects. The Equipment Manufacturing segment is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and sales of oil refining equipment and spare parts for facilities including oil refining and chemical facilities.
